eCommerce Websites

I build WooCommerce online shops for small UK businesses, with a quick checkout on phones, Stripe card payments and delivery set up for you. Fixed quote before any work starts.

Online shops built to sell, not just to look good

A good online shop does one job: it turns visitors into paying customers. That means clear product pages, a checkout that is quick on a phone, and payments and delivery that just work.

I build WooCommerce shops for small UK businesses, from a handful of products to full catalogues. Your shop gets a custom responsive design, card payments through Stripe, delivery options and rates set up the way you actually ship, and the first 20 products added for you. Everything is managed from one admin screen: products, sizes and colours, sale prices, stock and orders.

Because WooCommerce runs on WordPress, there is no monthly platform subscription and no platform fee taken from every sale. I have built shops that sell in the UK, Germany and Latvia, so selling abroad later is part of the plan, not a rebuild.

Online shop questions, answered

An Online Shop starts from £1,200. That includes a WooCommerce shop with a custom responsive design, cart and checkout, card payments through Stripe, delivery options and rates, and the first 20 products added for you.

The final price depends mainly on how many products you have, how many variations they come in, and whether you need extras such as a link to your stock or accounting system. After our first call I send you a written, fixed quote within 1 to 2 working days, so you know the full price before any work starts.
Most shops take 3 to 5 weeks from the first call to launch. A small shop with a few products and ready photos can be quicker. A large catalogue, many product variations or a connection to another system takes longer, and I give you a realistic date in the quote.

Product information is usually what slows things down: names, descriptions, prices, sizes and photos. A simple spreadsheet is enough, and the timeline runs from when I have it.
Card payments through Stripe are included as standard. Customers can pay with Visa, Mastercard and other major cards, and Stripe also supports Apple Pay and Google Pay, which make checkout on a phone much quicker. PayPal can be added if your customers expect it.

Stripe charges a small fee per transaction, paid directly to Stripe. There is no extra platform fee from me or from WooCommerce on top of that.
Yes. From one admin screen you can add products, change prices, run sales, update stock and process orders, including refunds. You get an email for every new order, and I show you how everything works before the shop goes live.

I add the first 20 products for you. If you have a large catalogue, I can import your products from a spreadsheet or add them for you as a separate job.

Yes. I can move your products, customers and past orders from platforms such as Shopify, Wix or an older WooCommerce shop. Before anything changes, I check what can be transferred and tell you if anything needs to be set up again by hand.

I keep your existing product and page addresses or redirect them to the new ones, so you do not lose the Google rankings you already have. The old shop stays live until the new one is tested and ready, so you do not miss any sales during the move.

You’ll always know who’s working on your site and what’s happening with it. I explain things in plain English and give straight answers, including when something isn’t worth paying for.

Tell me about your project and I’ll come back with a clear, fixed quote.

How much does a website cost?
The cost of a website depends on the size of the project, the number of pages, the design requirements, and the features your business needs. A simple brochure website will usually cost less than a larger website with advanced functionality or an online shop.

Our standard website projects start from £400, with most small business websites costing between £800 and £1,200. eCommerce websites start from £800, although the final price will depend on the number of products, payment options, delivery requirements, and any additional integrations.

Before providing a quote, we’ll discuss your business, the purpose of the website, the pages you need, and any features you would like to include. You’ll then receive a clear, itemised quotation within 1–2 working days, so you know exactly what is included before deciding to proceed.
Most small business websites take approximately 2–4 weeks to design, build, test, and prepare for launch. Smaller websites with ready-to-use content may be completed sooner, while websites with more pages, custom features, or additional integrations may require more time.

eCommerce websites usually take around 3–5 weeks, depending on the number of products, payment and delivery setup, product information, and any third-party integrations that need to be configured.

The project timeline begins once the required content, images, access details, and project information have been provided. Delays can occur if content or feedback is not available when needed, so we’ll keep you informed throughout the project and let you know what is required at each stage.
Yes. Your website will be built using an easy-to-manage content management system, allowing you to update text, images, pages, blog posts, products, and other content without needing to write code.

Before the website goes live, we can show you how to make common updates, such as editing page content, adding images, managing products, and updating basic website information.

If you prefer not to manage the website yourself, we can also provide ongoing maintenance and support. This may include content updates, plugin updates, security checks, backups, troubleshooting, and general technical assistance.
Launching your website is not the end of the process. Once your website is live, we can continue to support you with technical assistance, WordPress updates, security checks, backups, performance monitoring, and ongoing improvements.

If you notice a problem after launch, or if you need help making changes, you can contact us and we’ll review the issue. We’ll explain what needs to be done and recommend the most suitable solution.

For clients who want ongoing protection and support, we also offer website maintenance, managed WordPress hosting, regular backups, security monitoring, and performance optimisation.

The level of support depends on the service you choose, so we’ll explain what is included before you start.
No reputable SEO provider can guarantee a number-one position on Google. Search rankings depend on many factors, including competition, search demand, website quality, technical performance, content, location, and ongoing changes to search algorithms. Google itself advises businesses to be cautious of anyone promising guaranteed first-place rankings.

What we can do is give your website a strong SEO foundation. This may include improving the website structure, making important pages easier for search engines to understand, addressing technical issues, improving page speed, optimising on-page content, and ensuring the website provides a clear experience for visitors.

SEO is an ongoing process rather than a one-time guarantee. Results can take time and will vary depending on your industry, competitors, website history, and the amount of work involved. We focus on practical improvements that help your website become more visible to relevant people over time.
